INGREDIENTS
Farrah's Taco Tortillas
Farrah’s Nacho Spice Mix
500g beef mince
1 can black beans
Fresh tomatoes, chopped
Red onion, diced
Cheese, grated
Jalapenos, sliced
Fresh lime
Sour cream
Guacamole (we mixed an avo with fresh lime juice, salt, and pepper!)
Fresh coriander
METHOD
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Place Taco Tortillas on a chopping board and cut into tortilla chips.
Lay the chips on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake for 6-8 minutes until golden and crispy, then remove from oven.
While the chips are baking, heat a dash of oil in pan. Add the mince and Nacho Spice Mix, and mix in until the mince is broken up and starting to brown.
Add the beans and cook through for 5 minutes or until the mince is fully cooked.
Layer your cooked tortilla chips with the nacho mince and cheese. Repeat, then pop the tray of nachos back in the oven until cheese is melted. Remove from oven.
To build your nachos, add a layer of the tomatoes, onion, and jalapenos, dollops of guacamole, and a squeeze of fresh lime juice. Drizzle over sour cream, and garnish with fresh coriander. Enjoy!
