Prosciutto, Hot Honey, and Buffalo Mozzarella Pizza

Makes 1 Pizza

INGREDIENTS

Hot Honey Drizzle:

1 cup Honey
2 tsp Chilli flakes
1 Tbsp Apple cider vinegar

Prosciutto & Mozzarella Pizza:

1 Farrah’s Original Pizza Base
Tomato pizza sauce
1/2 cup grated Mozzarella
Fresh buffalo mozzarella, broken into 1cm chunks
3-5 slices Prosciutto
1 tsp Dried oregano
Fresh basil

METHOD

  1. To make the hot honey drizzle, combine honey and chilli flakes in a small saucepan. Heat on low until honey is hot and runny (not boiling). Take off heat, add apple cider vinegar, stir to combine, then let the mixture cool to room temperature. 

  2. Preheat the oven to 200-220 degrees. 

  3. Place Pizza Base on a lined baking tray and evenly spread on tomato pizza sauce, leaving a 1-2cm edge. 

  4. Sprinkle on grated mozzarella, then evenly place fresh mozzarella chunks on top. Tear the prosciutto and place it over the top of the pizza. Season with salt, pepper, and dried oregano.

  5. Bake for 8-12 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden. 

  6. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, and drizzle with hot honey. Slice and enjoy!

  • For best results, use a pizza stone.
