ULTRA KETO beef marinara smash wraps

Makes 5

INGREDIENTS

5 Farrah’s Ultra Keto Wraps

Marinara Sauce
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 ½ tsp oregano
1 can chopped tomatoes in juice

Smashed Beef 
750g beef mince
3 tbsp parmesan cheese, grated
2 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp dried oregano 
1 egg, beaten
Fresh parsley, chopped 

Topping
Fresh mozzarella, sliced
Fresh basil

METHOD

  1. To make marinara sauce, heat a dash of oil in a pot over medium heat and sauté onion, garlic and oregano until soft.

  2. Add chopped tomatoes and simmer for 5-10 minutes until reduced. 

  3. To make the smashed beef, combine the smashed beef ingredients. Season with salt and pepper. 

  4. Divide the mixture into five balls and press flat onto each wrap. 

  5. Heat a frying pan on medium heat and add a dash of oil. Cook the wraps meat side down for 5 minutes or until cooked through.

  6. Flip the wraps, top with marinara sauce and mozzarella, then cover and cook for 1 minute or until the cheese has melted. Garnish with basil.

  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
