LOW CARB KETO WRAP BURGER - CHEESY BEEF & MUSHROOM

Ingredients

Pink Pickled Onions
1 Red onion, thinly sliced
¼ Cup White vinegar
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tbsp Salt

Beef & Mushroom Wrap Burger
Farrah’s Low Carb Keto Wraps
4 Beef patties
200g Field or button mushrooms, sliced
1 Handful of grated mozzarella
1 Tomato, sliced
Mixed salad leaves
Mayonnaise
Smokey Chipotle sauce

Method

  1. Combine vinegar, sugar, and salt in a bowl and stir until dissolved. Pour over sliced red onions and leave overnight in the fridge until you’re ready to use them.

  2. Grill beef patties until cooked to your liking. Over medium heat, sauté sliced mushrooms in a frying pan with a dash of olive oil or butter for 2–4 minutes. Sprinkle over the grated cheese, then turn off heat and allow to melt and soften.

  3. Fold Farrah’s Low Carb Keto Wrap in half twice to create a burger pocket. Layer the base of the pocket with salad greens and cheesy mushrooms. Add a beef pattie to the second pocket and top with sliced tomato and tangy pink onions.

  4. Drizzle with combined mayonnaise and smokey chipotle sauce. Enjoy!
