BRAISED BEEF CHEEK TACOS

Makes 6

6 Farrah’s Small Taco Tortillas

Braised Beef Cheeks:
1 Tbsp Oil
2 Cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp Coriander
Salt and pepper
1 Onion, sliced
2 Beef cheeks
1 Cup Water
1 cup Red Wine

Serve with:
Cos Lettuce
Micro greens
Pickled Cabbage
Pico de Gallo
Chipotle Mayo

In a slow cooker, place all of the braised beef cheek ingredients and cook on high for 4-6 hours. The meat will be tender and falling apart.

Serve in Farrah’s Taco Tortillas with cos lettuce, micro greens, pickled cabbage, Pico de Gallo (tomato salsa), the braised beef cheeks and chipotle mayo.

  • The beef cheeks can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for a day or two.
  • A classic Pico de Gallo recipe is very simple; onion, jalapeno, lime juice, tomatoes and coriander all finely chopped and seasoned with salt.
  • Makes for a tasty starter!
