classic beef & Cheese wrap BURGER

Ingredients

4 Potatoes (for homemade fries)
4 Farrah’s Caramelised Onion Wraps
4 Beef Patties (we used First Light Wagyu Burger Patties)
1 Tbsp Olive oil
4 Slices Cheddar cheese
1 Tomato, sliced
½ Red onion, sliced
4 Gherkins, sliced
1 Bag Mixed lettuce leaves
Burger sauce

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Cut potatoes into chunky sized wedges, then place on a lined oven tray. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt, and toss to coat. Bake until tender, approx. 20-25 minutes.

  2. When the chips are halfway through cooking, brush the beef patties with olive oil and cook according to packet instructions. Add cheese slices for the last minute of cooking if you like them melted, or lay on top once removed from the heat. Set aside to rest for a few minutes.

  3. Prepare sliced tomatoes, red onion, lettuce and gherkins.

  4. Lay wraps out on a board then fold in half and half again to make a triangular shape with two pockets.

  5. Add lettuce, tomato and red onion to the bottom pocket, then add beef patties, cheese, and gherkins to the top pocket. Drizzle over a generous helping of burger sauce, then enjoy with the cooked fries!
