Steak & Cheese Pasties

Makes 4

4 Farrah’s Premium White Wraps
2 cups steak or slow cooked beef (cubed and cooked)
1 onion, roughly chopped and sautéed
1 cup mashed potato (mixed with a touch of milk)
Salt and pepper
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
2 tbsps melted butter
Rosemary

Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

In a bowl combine the cooked beef or steak and onion. Stir in mashed potato and cheese.

Lay a wrap on a board and in the centre, place ¼ of the steak and potato mixture. Fold in the left and right edges of the wrap over the ingredients, and then roll the wrap to form a parcel. Place the parcel on the baking tray (seam side down), brush with butter and sprinkle with chopped rosemary. Repeat with the remaining wraps.

Bake for 20-30 minutes or until the outside of the wrap is golden and crispy.

Enjoy with a side of relish or chutney.

  • Make sure your parcels are sealed well so the fillings don’t ooze out. If your wrap puffs up in the oven, prick the top a couple of times with a tooth pick or sharp knife.
