Ham & Pesto Melt

Makes 1

1 Farrah’s Chia & Quinoa Wrap
2 slices ham off the bone or shaved champagne ham
2 tbsp chunky basil pesto or sundried tomato dip
1 mozzarella ball (sliced), or grated mozzarella
Sliced tomato (if desired)

Lay the wrap on a board and spread with a generous amount of pesto. Down the centre of the wrap layer ham, tomato (if desired), and mozzarella.

Fold in the left and right sides and then roll the wrap to form the parcel. Toast in a sandwich press or on a griddle until the wrap is golden and the cheese is melted.

Enjoy as a warming quick lunch or snack!

  • Experiment with different fillings – try roasted or smoked chicken and pesto, or salami…get creative!
