Sausage Rolls

Makes 12

2 Farrah’s Fire Roasted Pepper Wraps
1 packet premium pork and herb sausages (600g)
½ medium onion, finely diced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp finely chopped parsley
1 egg, beaten
Sesame seeds

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Gently fry the onion in olive oil until translucent. 

Remove the sausage meat from the skins, place sausage meat in a bowl and add the fried onion and parsley. Mix together.

Place half the filling down middle of each wrap in log shape. Roll the wrap around the sausage meat, ending with the seam at the bottom. Repeat with the second wrap.

Brush with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds, cut each wrap into six sections.

Place on baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and the sausage meat is cooked.

  • Try using lamb mince instead or different wrap flavours – get creative!
  • Spread the inside of your wrap with tasty chutney before filling with the meat – for an extra flavour hit!
